Elizabeth (Lizzie) Rhoads, who played 6 years of volleyball at Bluffton HS (4 on varsity), has signed to play at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a DIII college in Terre Haute, IN. Among her many achievements, Lizzie coached at the LCVC Developmental Academy the last 2 years and was also a coach with the King University MS Camp in 2017. Prior to that she played 6 years on LCVC travel teams to include playing with the LCVC 17 Open team in the USAV National Championships in Indianapolis. Lizzie was captain of the Bluffton HS varsity volleyball team and also VP of the school’s National Honor Society, Secretary of the Low Country Alliance for Healthy Youth Coalition, Student Council Body Treasurer and recipient of the Mayor’s Service Award for the Town of Bluffton. She was also ranked first in her class academically in grades 9-12. We wish Lizzie the best of luck as a student-athlete with the Fightin’ Engineers.
