Low Country Volleyball Club’s 16 National team claimed the gold bracket title and a first place finish at the Palmetto Regional Championships this weekend in Charlotte.
LCVC went 7-1 on the weekend and won 15 of 20 sets, including three consecutive tough three-set victories in the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals to finish atop the field of 44 teams. In gold bracket play, LCVC knocked off a Myrtle Beach VC team in three sets, won a three-set match against SC Midlands, and rallied after dropping the first set to defeat Upward Stars in the finals.
LCVC’s other teams also made a strong showing, as 18 National finished fifth among 22 teams, 14 National was ninth among 67 teams, and 15 National was ninth among 46 teams and won the silver bracket. The 14 Power team finished fifth in the Power gold division.
